Plain English, because terms nobody can read protect nobody.

These terms cover your use of trylease.in. In them, “we” and “us” mean TryLease, which operates this site, and “you” means anyone using it — whether you are listing a property, looking for one, or just reading.
By listing a property or sending an enquiry, you are agreeing to what follows.
TryLease is a place to advertise property for lease and to be put in touch with the people advertising it. That is all it is.
We are not a broker, an agent, or a party to any lease. We do not negotiate, we do not hold deposits, we do not draft agreements, and we take no commission on anything that is agreed. Whatever you sign, you sign with the other person, not with us.
Because we take no cut of a deal, we have no reason to push one. That is deliberate, and it is the whole shape of how this site works.
When you list a property you are telling us, and everyone who reads it, that:
We read every listing before it goes live. That check is a person looking for the obvious — a rent that looks like a typing mistake, a photograph that does not match the address, details that contradict each other. It is not a verification of ownership, and we do not inspect properties or examine title documents. Please do your own checks before you pay anybody anything.
We can decline or take down a listing without much ceremony, and we will if it is misleading, unlawful, a duplicate, already let, or being used to advertise something that is not a property. We would rather have a small site that is true than a large one that is not.
If we take yours down and you think we have it wrong, write to us and we will look again.
When someone enquires about a property, their message reaches us and we pass it on. The owner is told that an enquiry has arrived; the enquirer's name, number and message stay with TryLease until we introduce the two of you. This exists so that a phone number posted on a listing site does not become a phone number in the hands of everybody who scrapes it.
Please do not use enquiries to advertise, to send bulk messages, or to contact people about anything other than the property they listed.
Keep your password to yourself; anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Tell us straight away if you think somebody else has got into it. We can suspend an account that is being used to post fake listings or to harass other users.
What you upload stays yours. By putting it on TryLease you are giving us permission to show it on the site and in search results and link previews, for as long as the listing is up. Take the listing down and that permission ends; ask us to remove a photograph and we will.
We do not promise that a listing will find a tenant, that an enquiry will be answered, or that the site will be available at every moment. We are a small team and this is a free service; we will fix what we can, when we can.
We are not responsible for what happens between an owner and a tenant after we have introduced them — including anything that goes wrong with a lease, a deposit or a payment. Please be as careful as you would be with any other property transaction.
Listing on TryLease is free, for owners and for tenants, and there is no commission. If that ever changes, we will say so clearly and in advance, and nothing you have already listed will be charged for retrospectively.
We may update this page. If we change something that actually matters, the date at the top will change and we will say what moved rather than quietly editing it.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chandigarh have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
